Even if they don’t look like supermodels, many people love them despite their looks and because of their eyes, and it can be fun to learn how to draw a bulldog. In this first step of our guide on drawing a bulldog, we will use a pencil to outline the bulldog. The reason we’ll be using a pencil for this step is so you can erase any mistakes as you work on the details. Once you’re happy with how the pencil lines look, we’ll review them with a pen for finer detail in the next few steps. Maintain a close look at the contact picture as you pull! Once you’re done with the pencil lines, you can start using your pen to review the bulldog’s facial details. Once you’ve accomplished that, you’re prepared for grade 2!
Step 2: Next, outline the bulldog’s body.
You have the pencil body outline and pencil face of your bulldog drawing, and in this second step, you can use your pencil to work on the bulldog body outline. As you draw over this pencil \lines, you can also add finer details to the body as you draw. For now, you can focus on the \bulldog’s rear and some of the bulldog’s limbs.
Step 3: Now draw details for the remaining limbs and the belly.
In this part of our guide on how to draw a bulldog, we’ll focus on adding some pen lines to the remaining limbs of your bulldog. You can also add some lines for the dog’s chest and belly. As with the previous steps, you can add finer details to the various elements as you draw. Once you have finished this step, the schematic is complete, and we can focus on the internal details for the next steps.
Step 4 – Create Counting Some Points to the Bulldog
As we mentioned in step 3, we’ll be focusing on some internal details for the final steps of drawing your bulldog. For this step, following the reference image, you can add curved lines to the sides of the bulldog’s body for some muscle detail. While you can copy the lines as they appear in the contact image, you can add details of your own! These lines we’re adding may look simple, but they’ll make a difference to the overall picture!
Step 5 – Now add the final details and erase the pencil lines
Before we move on to coloring your image, we have a few final details to add to this guide on drawing a bulldog. The leading information in our reference image is a few dots on the bulldog’s cheeks for whisker detail. Once you’ve drawn these final details, you can also start erasing all the pencil lines you drew in the first step. Before you do this, be sure to wait a moment for all the ink in pen to dry, as erasing the cell too soon can smear the ink.
Step 6 – Complete off your bulldog pulling with some paint
This final step of your bulldog drawing is fun as you can bring it to life with beautiful colors! We used some browns, whites, and grays for our example image to paint it. This is just one of many ways you could color this bulldog, so feel free to get creative with it!Bulldogs can come in many different color variations, so you should feel free to wear any color combination you like.
